Britney Spears was allegedly fired as a judge on The X Factor USA and was reportedly not going to be returning next season, but now it seems that Simon Cowell may want her back on the The X Factor USA season 3 after all! Rumors have alleged Britney Spears was on the chopping block for being too boring and not good on live TV. FOX and Simon Cowell were supposedly not happy with her performance on The X Factor 2012. Now, however, Simon Cowell has stepped forward in support of Britney. Will she return for the next season or not? Right now it seems uncertain, but I think Britney is a goner.
When it all comes down to it, I am a huge fan of Britney Spears, but is she worth the $15 million contract to sit there and stare off into space half the time and give one-line critiques after every performance on The X Factor 2012? Every time one of her singers performed, her critiques consisted of her being so proud of them and they are already a star. While I hate the bickering that goes on between The X Factor judges, I think Britney should at least act like she is interested in being there.
Another thing is that they did pay Britney Spears $15 million to be on The X Factor USA Season 2 and she did nothing for the ratings. They made it all about her and the fans never tuned in, but that doesn’t stop Simon Cowell from wanting her back. He said: “I haven’t had the conversation with her whether she’d want to, what other commitments she’s got. Yeah, I think I [want her back], yeah. But like I said, and it goes back to LA (Reid), it all depends on how much time they can give us.”
Doesn’t sound too convincing that he wants Britney Spears back? Will Britney return for The X Factor USA Season 3 or will she be fired?
